Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Bamboo Court website or enquiring about our residential programmes. By accessing our website or submitting an enquiry, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the meanings set out below:
- "Bamboo Court" / "we" / "us" / "our" — the residential home operated at 23 Lung Wah Street, Sha Tin, New Territories, Hong Kong
- "User" / "you" — any person who accesses our website or contacts us in connection with our services
- "Services" — the residential programmes offered by Bamboo Court, including Peaceful Living Residence, Morning Wellness Circle, and Extended Comfort Stay
- "Agreement" — the arrangement entered into between Bamboo Court and a resident or their family upon admission
- "Website" — the Bamboo Court website accessible at https://bamboocort.info
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website or contacting us about our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement. If you are acting on behalf of an elderly individual, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.
3. Description of Services
Bamboo Court provides non-medical residential care for elderly individuals. Our programmes are designed to support daily living, social connection, and personal comfort. We do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical nursing services. Residents requiring medical care are advised to ensure appropriate external arrangements are in place.
Services are available at our premises in Sha Tin, New Territories, Hong Kong, subject to availability.
4. Enquiries and Admissions
Submitting an enquiry through our website does not constitute a binding agreement or reservation. Admission to any programme is subject to availability, a consultation, and the completion of our admission process. Bamboo Court reserves the right to decline an application where our programmes are not a suitable fit for the individual's needs.
5. User Responsibilities
When using our website or engaging with our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information in all communications and forms
- Not use our website for any unlawful purpose
- Respect the privacy and dignity of other residents and staff
- Inform us promptly of any changes to the resident's health or circumstances that may affect their care arrangements
- Adhere to the conduct guidelines communicated at the time of admission
6. Payment Terms
Programme fees are as follows:
- Peaceful Living Residence: HK$13,200 per month
- Morning Wellness Circle: HK$1,900 per month
- Extended Comfort Stay: HK$10,500 per two-week period
Fees are payable in Hong Kong Dollars. Payment terms, accepted methods, and billing arrangements will be confirmed in writing prior to admission. Fees are subject to review and may be updated with reasonable advance notice.
Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us directly to discuss your circumstances.
7. Service-Specific Terms
Peaceful Living Residence
This programme is offered on a monthly basis. One calendar month's notice is typically requested for departure, though we will discuss individual circumstances with families where this is not possible.
Morning Wellness Circle
This programme runs on a monthly enrolment basis. Participants may pause attendance with reasonable notice. Session content may be adjusted to accommodate participant energy levels and preferences.
Extended Comfort Stay
This arrangement is available for a period of two to four weeks. No long-term agreement is required. The departure summary provided at the end of the stay is intended for family reference only and does not constitute a formal care assessment.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Bamboo Court website — including text, images, and design — is the property of Bamboo Court or its licensors. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any content from our website without prior written permission.
9. Disclaimers
Our services are provided in good faith and with reasonable care. However, Bamboo Court does not make any representations or warranties regarding specific outcomes for residents. Our programmes support daily living and social wellbeing; they are not a substitute for medical, clinical, or therapeutic services.

10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Hong Kong law, Bamboo Court's liability in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall not exceed the fees paid for the relevant programme in the month in which the matter giving rise to the claim occurred. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our website or services.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate a residential arrangement by providing written notice in accordance with the terms agreed at admission. Bamboo Court reserves the right to terminate an arrangement where continued residence would not be appropriate, with reasonable notice and in consultation with the family.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute arising from these terms shall first be addressed through direct discussion between the parties. Where this is not possible, disputes may be referred to mediation or the appropriate courts of Hong Kong.
13. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the admission agreement, constitute the full agreement between Bamboo Court and the user in respect of the matters covered.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
- Waiver: Failure by Bamboo Court to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or services following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
